2025 TCQHA Media Day

High school hockey picture day, but make it gay!

TCQHA will be hosting a Media Day on 14 Dec 2025 from 4:30-5:30pm at St Louis Park ROC outdoor ice arena.

Wear your cleanest, nicest smelling jerseys and come get a formal hockey picture taken (think high school sports picture day), skate with friends, and help drum up content for our social media pages! The session will involve an unsupervised free skate, area for drills, and potentially a small pickup game. Candid pictures and videos will be taken throughout as well as some short one on one video interviews.

Pictures will be shared digitally with participants for printing. Participation assumes you are OK with your image being shared on social media.

A suggested donation of $5 per skater is encouraged. All donations will go to covering the cost of ice and can be made via Venmo to @tcqha-narwhals

How many skaters/goalies can register?

• We are not limiting the number of registrations for this event

Who can register?

• Any current/former member of TCQHA can register for this event

What should I bring/wear?

• Wear a clean TCQHA jersey (bring both dark and light) and all your regular hockey equipment

Will my picture be shared on social media?

• By attending this event you are agreeing to TCQHA sharing your image and likeness on social media. It is recommended that you do not attend this event if you do not want your picture taken/image shared.

How will I receive copies of pictures/videos?

• Media will be shared via a shared folder following the event

Is there going to be a pickup hockey game played?

• There may be a very informal game played, we will not be setting rosters or guaranteeing a game at this time. The primary purpose of this event is to get formal pictures for everyone and create social media content.
