Assessments

Two preseason assessments are available this year at no cost. These are designed to help ballpark appropriately leveled skaters into respective winter divisions. The board reserves the right to move any player during the season to better balance the teams.

So, DO I need to assess?

• If you are new to TCQHA and didn’t skate with us last winter, you must come assess with us.
• If you are returning and previously registered as a different self assessed level, you need to assess with us.
• If you are confused by our leveling descriptions, please come assess with us. Level descriptions can be found here.

If you are returning player, don’t assess, and attempt to register at a higher self-assessed level than last year, we will adjust your level to the level you selected last winter (ex: registered as a three in a previous season and are signing up as a four this winter without an assessment, it will result in you being moved to the 2/3 skate this winter and adjusted to a level 3.)
